Social payments
Since the formation of Lucent Petroleum in 2008, over 160, 000, 000 KZT (~US$ 725,000) has been paid as dedicated social payments to ROK central tax authorities and local authorities within the regions where Lucent Petroleum operates. These payments have funded a range of projects for the benefit of local communities including building and/or repair of schools, medical centers, community centers, and residential buildings.
Liquidation fund contribution
Lucent Petroleum is building up liquidation fund to eliminate the consequences of operating activities at the end of the field life. The liquidation fund will be used for the restoration of the environment, the liquidation of drilled wells and the elimination of other field facilities
