LEBYAZHYE OIL FIELD
Lebyazhye Oil Field located in the northwestern quarter of the Lucent Block is currently under preparatory period until March 2026.
Conducted Trial Production from a single well (L#14) between Oct 2022 and Mar 2023, then suspended field activities.
Full Field Development Project approval (FDP) is expected in Q1/2025. The existing trial production facilities will be upsized to commercial production facilities in line with FDP. It is scheduled to commence commercial oil production in Q3/2025 with targeted daily production rate up to 150 tons/day.
MUNAIBAI OIL AND GAS CONDENSATE FIELD
Munaibai Oil and Gas Condensate Field located to the middle and eastern region of the Lucent Block is currently under preparatory period until March 2026.
Full Field Development Project approval is expected by December 2024. Approved FDP will secure the production until 2048.
The Surface Facilities and Infrastructures will be constructed in two Phases in Munaibai Field.
Phase-I (2024-2026)
- Construction of Surface Facilities and Infrastructures in Bakhyt Area of Munaibai Field:
- The surface facilities including infield gathering system and Gas Gathering Station.
- The raw gas will be supplied to 3rd party’s Gas Processing Plant via a new 8”x22 km gas pipeline for further processing and delivery to QazaqGas (National Gas Company of RoK) pipeline system in Borankol District.
- The target date for commencement of commercial gas and condensate production from Bakhyt Area is Q3/2025.
- The forecasted peak gas and condensate production rates are 0.540 MMm3/day and 165 tons/day, respectively.
Phase-II (2026-2028)
- Construction of Surface Facilities and Infrastructures in East Munaibai (EM) Area of Munaibai Field:
- A new Complex Gas Processing Plant will be constructed to process the mixture of sour gas from EM Area and sweet gas from Bakhyt Area.
- The total field sales gas will be supplied via a new gas pipeline (16” x 105 km) to “QazagGas” pipeline system in Oporny District.
- A new Oil Processing Plant will be constructed next to Gas Processing Plant to process crude oil production from EM oil wells.
- Commercial oil and stable condensate will be trucked from EM Facilities to the Third Party’s Oil Storage and Pumping Station in Oporny Terminal. There, they will either be loaded into railway cars or pumped to the KTO Oil Trunk Line System for delivery to both the domestic and export markets.
- The target date for commencement of commercial gas, condensate and oil production from EM Area is Q3/2028.
- The forecasted peak gas, condensate and oil production rates are 1.7 MMm3/day, 380 tons/day, and 552 tons/day, respectively.
