“Lucent Petroleum” LLP is Sub-soil Use Contractor (Operator) of two oil and gas fields in the west of Kazakhstan. The company has managed the assets across the full lifecycle of E&P from the company’s offices in Almaty.
Lucent operates the Lebyzhye (Swan) field in the Atyrau Oblast and the Munaibai-Bakhyt field in the Mangistau oblast. Both fields are onshore within the transition zone of the Caspian Sea approximately 50 km south of the giant Tengiz field and are both fields in the final stage of preparation for production.
100 km to the NW the subsidiary company “Kaz Drill Solution” LLP is exploring the Yuzhnyii (South) block covering 4460 sq.km. of the South Emba sub basin not explored since the 1980’s when a number of oilfields were discovered and developed.
