- Priority of actions aimed at preventing dangerous effects on people and the environment
- Constant readiness to prevent and effectively eliminate the consequences of any incidents, accidents, and other emergencies to ensure minimal impact on the environment
- Openness and accessibility of environmental information, including constructive interaction with the public and communities where we operate
In support of the above Principles the following actions are taken
- Maintenance of industrial and environmental safety guidelines in line with international norms and standards
- Environmental monitoring
- Implementation of available technologies, equipment, and materials which will minimize environmental impacts, enhance efficiency of resource utilization, and minimize health risks to personnel
- Ensure appropriate levels of readiness in personnel, materials, and equipment to ensure a timely and effective response to ensure minimal impacts from any emergencies that occur
- Education and training to improve professional skills of specialists in the field of environmental protection as well as to raise environmental awareness of all personnel
- Preservation of flora and fauna in all areas where company operates
- Ensure safe handling and disposal of all waste products in accordance with ROK laws
